About Gil Barzilay

Gil is B.Sc (Hornors) from Imperial College, University of London, a Ph.D from Oxford University in Cancer Research and a European Medical Biology Organization (EMBO) Post-Doctoral fellowship at the Weizmann Institute, specializing in apoptosis research. Gil has a Diploma in Chinese medicine from Broshim College of Integrative Medicine, Telv Aviv University, where he studied both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He has an additional 1-year specialty course in Chinese Nutrition with Eyal Shpringer. Daily Gil runs an clinic in Tel Aviv and Refuot and teaches “research and evidence in Chinese Medicine” in Broshim College and across the world. He is part of the International Community of Chinese Medicine (ICCM) and is the Head of Research at the European TCM Association intending to promote education and awareness for good quality research in TCM across Europe.
